Volunteer Basis, Potential for UROP Funding

The Center for Global Christianity and Mission has launched an ambitious effort to map every Christian church, hospital, school, monastery, convent, clinic, and the like that appeared in China between 1550-1950. This is an ambitious project and requires working with other universities and researchers on various continents. Students involved in this project will both seek out new institutions and record them in a graph database, so that they can be visualized and reveal new patterns about Chinese religious life and the forces of globalization.
